Tetoua(niya)
I met Fatiha in Moulay Abdeslem, in northern Morocco. What stayed with me was her smile: simple, sincere, effortless.
She carried a calm joy, a grounded presence, as if the moment itself was enough. There was a quiet strength in the way she stood, moved, and smiled without noise, without excess.
I named her Tetaouniya, inspired by niya; pure intention, an inner energy that guides actions and shapes encounters. Fatiha embodied that kind of strength: open-hearted, steady, deeply human.
This notebook was born from that meeting. A tribute to women whose joy is a form of courage, and whose presence lingers long after they’re gone.
