ITO- Rif Collection

ITO is inspired by a woman from the Rif.

In the Rif, women used tattoos as marks of identity.
They were drawn on the face or the hands to protect, to belong, to remember.
Each symbol carried a meaning : linked to the land, to fertility, to protection, to lineage.

ITO’s tattoos refer to these traditional Rif tattoos, passed from one generation to the next, at a time when the body itself was a place of memory.

This design speaks to women who recognize this relationship to strength and identity. People shaped by place, family, and responsibility taken early, who carry their story with them.

ITO references a culture where the body carried identity and memory.
